Its unique graphical interface helps you follow the steps in the chain of survival. The lights on each diagram light up to indicate what to do next. In line with the images and lights, the resuscitator also receives voice prompts and text messages. Special electrodes:
AED devices on the market come with two separate electrodes, which in many cases cause problems for the responder to correctly apply. The CPR-D padz electrode for the ZOLL AED Plus consists of two pairs of electrodes, factory assembled. With the help of the drawing on the electrode, correct installation is not a problem.
The part with the red cross is placed over the compression area and is subjected to the appropriate pressure by the resuscitator. The Real CPR Help function receives data via the CPR-D pad electrode.
The CPR-D pad electrode has a shelf life of 5 years, the longest of any electrode currently on the market. The electrode is disposable.

Batteries:
The ZOLL AED Plus is unique in the market in that it uses commercially available lithium batteries. The batteries are easy to replace and are operational for up to 5 years in standby mode.
The defibrillator requires 10 batteries to be installed, but 5 batteries are sufficient for operation, so that the device can be used without interruption even if some batteries are not working properly.

ZOLL rectilinear biphasic waveform (RBW):
The ZOLL AED Plus' Rectilinear Biphasic Waveform is the only waveform that is FDA-approved to outperform monophasic waveforms for ventricular fibrillation in patients with high body impedance. In this case, the device delivers more current.
