The CARDIAX load laboratory fully automates the load tests. The computer controls the load device (bicycle or treadmill) according to a preset load program.

In the load program, the duration of the load phases, the initial load, the load increase per phase and the conditions for load interruption can be specified.

If the ergometer is also equipped with an automatic blood pressure monitor, the CARDIAX system measures the blood pressure and stores the measured values.

The system continuously records the complete ECG during exercise and the evaluation is instantaneous, so that median curves and ST trends can be observed during the test.

At the end of the test, a final protocol is generated from the results. The results can also be viewed in graphical form. A graph plots heart rate, blood pressure and workload versus time. Other graphs show changes in ST amplitudes and medians (ST trend and QRS trend).

The program evaluates the performance in the maximum and sub-maximum range.

Services of the load-balancing system:

Sampling in 12 standard + 3 Frank drains. 2 and 3 dimensional vector ECG can be drawn from the Frank leads.

The ECG signal is displayed on the computer screen, so the curve can be observed without the use of paper.

- Cardiax's database management system can simultaneously record millions of patient records and 1000 ECG recordings per person, patient charts and findings are easily managed. In a local network, the database installed on the server can be used by several workstations simultaneously.
