The Spencer Shell basket stretcher is designed for safe transport of the injured in difficult to access terrain. SHELL basket stretchers are highly resistant to corrosion, chemicals and temperature fluctuations. Ideal for rescue operations in mines, at high altitudes and in water, they are a safe and reliable solution for rescuers thanks to their robust and resistant construction. SHELL basket stretchers are uniformly thick throughout the stretcher thanks to revolutionary technology, preventing deformation during loading and lifting. An aluminium frame around the perimeter of the stretcher ensures high stability and strength. The bearing is highly resistant to corrosion, chemicals and temperature fluctuations. The grips are part of the structure and are located around the entire circumference of the stretcher. The eyelets for attaching the straps are made of stainless steel. Inside the basket is a sponge washer secured with Velcro. The velcro, made of EPDM, is resistant to water and blood. High-density polyethylene ensures that the basket is shock-resistant and exceptionally easy to sterilise. A smaller stretcher can also be placed in the Spencer Shell.
