Brilliant apochromatic optics and ultra-bright coaxial illumination go hand in hand. The SOM 22 delivers crystal clear, three-dimensional imaging with great depth of focus and exceptional colour brightness. This gives you maximum control over your work - the ideal prerequisite for reliable diagnosis. Illumination via a cold light source (15V/150W). Magnification 3-degree switch (5-degree switch optionally available). 10x eyepiece (12.5x on request).
Optional LED lighting with contrasting colour temperature very similar to daylight. This and the uniform illumination of the field of view contribute to fatigue-free working. Other benefits include a long life of around 50 000 hours and low power consumption. In addition, LED lighting produces very little heat and is extremely quiet. LED lighting can be integrated into the rotating arm or mounted in the microscope head.
