The effectiveness of the wash is guaranteed by continuous testing. Achieving effective, tested cleaning is ensured by several fixed-position and rotary-head water jets, which allow the water jet to be evenly distributed and reach all parts of the object to be cleaned. Both the inside and outside of the unit are made of AISI 403 stainless steel. Steam is also introduced through the water jets, ensuring perfect disinfection in every wash cycle.
To prevent dirt and bacteria growth, both the inner chamber and the inner edges of the door are manufactured with rounded edges.

- The door of the chamber is locked throughout the entire run, the door can only be opened after successful disinfection.
- Faults are indicated on the control panel, an acoustic signal (e.g. drain blockage) indicates the end of the disinfection check at the end of the programme.
- Lockable bottom storage cabinet for descaler and washing liquid.
- Loading of soiled equipment is ergonomically designed at a convenient height.
- Steelco Bedwashers are equipped with foot-pedal operated automatic doors or with an infrared sensor that automatically closes and opens the doors.
- One piece of flexible storage is supplied as standard. Special shelves and racks are also available.
