The Duodynator®, the new innovative electrotherapy device for stimulation from gbo Medizintechnik AG, offers a wide range of therapeutic possibilities.
 
The user interface is designed to be so clearly arranged that easy start-up and maximum user-friendliness are ensured. With a single touch, the user can select the desired therapy from a list of favourites.
 
 
 
Quick start is simply by turning the intensity control. The modern design of the brushed aluminium housing and the 10.1" TFT LCD colour touch screen gives the therapist "a little more" than a technically high-quality stimulus current therapy device.

Application area:
The Duodynator® is a universal device that works with low and medium frequency currents.
 
 
 
The Duodynator® has two channels so it can be used as follows:
 
 - as an interference device, in which the excitation effect is obtained by superimposing two medium-frequency currents of different frequencies.
 - As a 2-channel MF device, in which the two channels can be used completely independently in different areas of the body, each with its own current shape and intensity.
 - NF, using the classic electrotherapy current.
 
 
Range of applications:
Muscle tensing and detonation
Electroplating and iontophoresis
Paralysis of totally or partially degenerated muscles
Inactive atrophies and weakened muscles
Pain, muscle spasms, functional diseases of the musculoskeletal system
Stimulation of the pelvic floor
Treatment of urinary and faecal incontinence
 
 
The main effects of electrical stimulation:
- Active contraction (isometric, concentric and eccentric) allows the neuromuscular system to respond properly during treatment
- The gate control mechanism is responsible for modulating pain.
- Spasticity is reduced by stimulation of agonists - antagonists.
- Transdermal application of medicinal substances into the skin (iontophoresis).
- Mechanical stretching of muscles improves joint mobility.
- Promoting local blood circulation to promote wound healing.
- Reduction of oedema is enhanced by activation of the muscle pump.
